What is Reiki?
Reiki is a simple, non-invasive energy healing technique for stress reduction and deep relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and if the level of this energy is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
Reiki energy healing enables us to deeply relax mentally, physically and emotionally. It allows the body to feel calm and helps restore the mind and body back to balance.
What Happens at A Reiki Session?
A Karuna Reiki treatment is facilitated by the light touch of the practitioner’s hands starting at the head and moving down the body ending at ones feet.
You will feel warmth and sometimes heat radiating from the therapist’s hands along with an immediate sense of calm. The session takes place in a quiet treatment room for 60-90 mins.
Clients lay on a massage table remaining clothed and are covered with a blanket for their comfort. It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes.
Meet Gayle
Gayle is a fully qualified Usui/Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki® Master practitioner and teacher. Her Reiki practice has evolved through her passion for supporting people who experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, mental health or other debilitating emotional issues.
She has over 18 years of experience supporting people with mental health issues and physical disabilities, within both the disability and mental health sectors.
Working with people and animals has been a major part of her life and through her Reiki practice she has supported many people with varying health conditions like stroke survivors, lung, throat and breast cancer patients, people with kidney ailments, leukaemia patients, fertility, depression, anxiety, back injuries, diabetes and so much more. This work inspired her to set up her own practice, Chakra Harmony Reiki Perth.
